The purpose of this blog is to illustrate the mundane (and occassionally frustrating) life of a woman who loves video games, from the perspective of a player and of a developer. My experiences are purely my own and may or may not be similar to those of other women in the industry, but I am writing about them to share my perspective with a wider audience, and I encourage others to do this as well. Video games are enjoyed by a diverse group of people, and as a developer, I am especially interested in how people connect with games and how things such as race, gender, sexual orientation, and disability may affect their experiences.
